- 01FIFTY/50 Pilates currently has studios open in Cedar Park and Leander, with Georgetown opening soon at 3920 Williams Drive, Suite 109. Each studio was designed to make reformer Pilates feel more approachable, flexible, and easy to fit into your life, with expert-led classes, in-studio virtual classes, and our first-of-its-kind On-Demand Reformer Room. We are currently offering a limited number of Founding Memberships for Georgetown, which include special savings and exclusive perks for early members! As a locally owned studio, we are incredibly excited to continue growing the FIFTY/50 Pilates community and cannot wait to welcome you into Georgetown soon.
- 02Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout performed on a specialized piece of equipment called a reformer. At FIFTY/50 Pilates, reformer Pilates is designed to help you build strength, improve flexibility, increase mobility, and feel better in your body — all without the pounding of high-impact workouts. The reformer uses spring-based resistance to create smooth, controlled movement that can be adjusted for all fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced clients. One of the things our members love most is that classes can be both challenging and approachable at the same time. Whether you are looking to build strength, recover from injuries, improve mobility, or simply move more consistently, reformer Pilates can meet you where you are.
- 03Absolutely not. Reformer Pilates is designed to be adaptable for a wide range of fitness levels, experience levels, and movement backgrounds. Many people actually begin Pilates because they are looking for a more approachable, low-impact way to build strength, improve mobility, increase flexibility, or simply feel better in their body. At FIFTY/50 Pilates, our goal is to create an environment where you can start at your own pace and progress over time. Whether you are brand new to fitness, returning after time away, recovering from injuries, or already very active, reformer Pilates can be adjusted to meet you where you are.
- 04That is completely okay — many of our members have walked into FIFTY/50 Pilates having never used a reformer before. (Many have now completed hundreds of classes!) Our Intro Classes, beginner-friendly sessions, Private Sessions, and approachable studio environment are all designed to help you feel comfortable learning the equipment and movements at your own pace. Many first-time members also find that our visual instruction, in-studio virtual classes, and On-Demand Room make the learning process feel much less intimidating. Most importantly, you do not need to “know Pilates” before getting started. Everyone begins somewhere, and our goal is to help you feel supported and confident from your very first session.
- 05At FIFTY/50 Pilates, each class is 50 minutes long and designed to give you a balanced, full-body workout without feeling rushed. Sessions typically include a guided warm-up, focused reformer work, and a cool down to help you move well, build strength, improve mobility, and leave feeling energized. Whether you are brand new to Pilates or have years of experience, our classes are designed to be both challenging and approachable, with modifications and progressions available for different fitness levels. We also intentionally leave time between classes to allow for a comfortable transition between sessions and a more relaxed studio experience overall.
- 06Absolutely. If you are new to reformer Pilates, our Intro Classes are a great place to start. Cedar Park offers a standard Intro Class every Sunday at 2:00pm, and Leander offers an Intro Class every Wednesday at 6:00pm. These sessions are designed to help you feel comfortable with the reformer, learn basic movements, and get familiar with the studio environment before jumping into regular classes. If you are interested in our upcoming Georgetown location, you are also welcome to visit either our Cedar Park or Leander studios to experience FIFTY/50 Pilates before Georgetown officially opens. We also offer a 2 Week Unlimited Trial for just $50, which is one of the best ways to truly experience reformer Pilates. Most people need a few classes to fully get comfortable with the reformer and experience the benefits of the workout, so the trial gives you the opportunity to explore different class styles, instructors, and schedules before deciding what works best for you!
- 07For your safety and comfort, we require grip socks during all reformer Pilates sessions. If you do not already have a pair, grip socks are available for purchase at the studio. We recommend wearing comfortable, flexible workout clothing that allows you to move freely. Because reformer Pilates involves a lot of movement in different positions, including lying on your back and bending or stretching throughout class, more fitted athletic wear is usually the most comfortable option. Loose clothing and jewelry should not be worn during class, and long hair must be tied back to help prevent entanglements with reformer equipment. Most members also like to bring a water bottle and small towel. Water bottle refill stations are available in the lobby, and each reformer station includes a cubby for personal belongings.
- 08FIFTY/50 Pilates welcomes members ages 13 and up. For ages 13 to 14, participation is allowed with a parent or guardian present in the studio during class and a signed waiver on file. For ages 15 to 17, members may attend classes independently with a signed waiver from a parent or guardian on file. If you have questions about whether FIFTY/50 Pilates is a good fit for a younger member, our team is always happy to help guide you. have a membership and a waiver signed by a parent or guardian on file.
- 09FIFTY/50 Pilates is currently the only Pilates studio in the United States offering live classes, in-studio virtual classes, and a fully dedicated On-Demand Room all under one roof. This gives you multiple ways to experience reformer Pilates based on your schedule, learning style, comfort level, and goals. Live Classes are led in person by one of our instructors in a traditional group class environment. In-studio virtual classes feature guided instruction displayed on large screens throughout the room, creating a flexible and visually guided class experience that many members, especially beginners, really enjoy. The On-Demand Room allows you to book individual reformer sessions on your own schedule using personal screens and a large library of guided workout content. Many members enjoy combining all three formats to create a flexible and consistent Pilates routine that fits their lifestyle.
- 10The On-Demand Room is one of the things that makes FIFTY/50 Pilates truly different from a traditional Pilates studio. This space allows you to book individual reformer sessions on your own schedule using state-of-the-art Peak Pilates Fit Reformers equipped with personal screens and a large library of guided workout content featuring experienced Pilates instructors. Whether you want to supplement your regular classes, practice more consistently, ease into reformer Pilates at your own pace, or simply fit a workout into a busy day, the On-Demand Room gives you a flexible and approachable way to move. Many members also enjoy the visual learning experience and the ability to repeat sessions or focus on specific styles of workouts whenever they would like.
- 11Absolutely. Many members use the On-Demand Room as a comfortable and approachable way to begin learning reformer Pilates. The guided sessions include clear visual instruction, beginner-friendly content, and the ability to move at your own pace, which can help many people feel more confident and comfortable before joining traditional group classes. That said, we still strongly recommend starting with one of our Intro Classes or a few Private Sessions whenever possible, especially if you are completely new to reformer Pilates. Many beginners find that a combination of guided instruction and hands-on support helps them build confidence more quickly. The On-Demand Room can also be a great way to continue practicing between classes and become more familiar with the reformer over time.
- 12Our in-studio virtual classes are designed to give you a workout experience that feels very similar to a live class, while also offering more schedule flexibility and availability. In these sessions, the instructor is displayed on large screens throughout the room leading the workout with clear visual guidance and demonstration throughout class. Many members, especially beginners, actually enjoy this format because the visual instruction can make it easier to follow movements, learn proper form, and move at your own pace. This approach also allows FIFTY/50 Pilates to offer more class times, more flexibility, and more ways to fit reformer Pilates into your schedule.
- 13Our group classes are designed to create a dynamic and welcoming environment while still allowing for personalized attention and guidance. Classes are limited to 12 participants using our state-of-the-art Peak Pilates reformers. This class size creates a great balance between the energy and motivation of a group setting and the ability to receive individualized feedback and support throughout your practice. Whether you are brand new to reformer Pilates or have years of experience, our goal is to help you feel comfortable, challenged, and supported in every class.
- 14Yes. One of the reasons so many people love reformer Pilates is because it offers a low-impact way to build strength, improve flexibility, increase mobility, and move more consistently without the pounding and stress of many traditional workouts. The spring-based resistance of the reformer creates smooth, controlled movement that can often feel more supportive and joint-friendly than high-impact exercise. Many members are drawn to Pilates because they are looking for a more sustainable way to move, whether that means balancing other workouts, returning after time away from exercise, or simply prioritizing strength and mobility as part of a healthy lifestyle. As always, if you are recovering from an injury or have medical concerns, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise program.
- 15Yes. Many women continue practicing reformer Pilates during pregnancy, and the low-impact, controlled nature of Pilates can be a great way to support strength, mobility, posture, and overall movement throughout pregnancy. That said, every pregnancy is different, so we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before beginning or continuing any exercise program while pregnant. At FIFTY/50 Pilates, we also strongly encourage pregnant members to attend expert-led classes or private sessions whenever possible so our instructors can help provide modifications and guidance based on your stage of pregnancy and comfort level. If you are brand new to reformer Pilates and currently pregnant, starting with a few private sessions can often be a great way to learn the equipment, build confidence, and receive more individualized support before joining group classes.
- 16Yes. FIFTY/50 Pilates offers both private and duet reformer Pilates sessions. Private sessions are a great option if you are looking for more individualized attention, want to focus on a specific goal or area of interest, are recovering from an injury, or simply prefer a more personalized experience outside of a traditional class environment. Many members who are brand new to reformer Pilates also choose to begin with a small package of private sessions to build confidence, learn the equipment, and feel more comfortable before transitioning into group classes. Duet sessions are a great option if you would like to train alongside a friend, partner, or family member while still receiving more individualized instruction. If you are interested in booking a private or duet session, our team would be happy to help you find the best fit based on your experience level and goals. Just shoot us an email or give us a call!
- 17Consistency is one of the biggest keys to getting the most out of reformer Pilates. Many members begin with 2 to 4 sessions per week to build familiarity with the reformer, improve strength and mobility, and start seeing and feeling results more consistently. Regular practice also helps movements feel more natural and allows you to progress more confidently over time. It is also very normal to feel sore after your first few classes, especially if you are new to reformer Pilates or returning to exercise after time away. Pilates often activates smaller stabilizing muscles that many people are not used to working regularly. The good news is that consistency usually helps your body adapt surprisingly quickly. One of the reasons members love our Unlimited Memberships is the flexibility to attend different class styles, instructors, and session formats throughout the week without having to overthink scheduling or session counts. At FIFTY/50 Pilates, our goal is to help you build a routine that feels sustainable, enjoyable, and easy to maintain long term.

- 23At FIFTY/50 Pilates, we believe your membership should fit your life, not lock you into a long-term commitment. If you need to cancel, freeze, or make changes to your membership, simply email the studio where your membership was originally purchased prior to your next billing date. If you are traveling, recovering from an injury, or just need a short break, membership freezes are available and can often be a great alternative to cancellation. Please note that half-year and full-year pre-paid memberships cannot be canceled or refunded.
- 24We understand that life happens, and sometimes schedules change. To help make sure everyone has a fair opportunity to attend classes, FIFTY/50 Pilates does have a cancellation and no-show policy in place. If you need to cancel a reserved session, please do so at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time. For Unlimited Memberships: Late cancellations made within 12 hours of class start time will incur a $15 late cancellation fee. No-shows, or arrivals more than 5 minutes after class begins, will incur a $20 no-show fee. For session-based memberships and class packs: Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of that session credit. Our goal is never to penalize members, but rather to keep class availability fair and accessible for everyone, especially during high-demand class times.
